Andrea, John and Adam were hanging with K today and have an update: in order to figure out the cause for the low blood count, the docs decided to postpone this round of chemo and do some additional test. Given the glacial pace of these sorts of things, he will be in the hospital tonight and perhaps--depending on when the test results can be analyzed--Thursday night.
Apparently, the room service isn't as bad as might be expected and he'll have plenty of company over the next few days in an attempt to stave off the cabin fever during the season's first real heat wave in the city.
